We ran into some difficulties with the Aperture comic, but don't worry, it will be up Friday. In the meantime, enjoy this L4D2 comic and... what's that Mr. Johnson? You want to explain what happened with the -- *KRSH*
Cave Johnson here! Our boys down in the lab ran into a few problems, something about an unstable element or mantis DNA or something. I don't know. I'm not an egghead. I pay them to be the eggheads. I pay you to read these comics. *psst-psst-psst* The boys down in HR are telling me I don't in fact pay you. Well, doesn't matter, read them anyway! About that minor setback down in the labs, all I know is we haven't entirely nailed down what element it is yet, but I'll tell you this: it's a lively one and it does not like the human skeleton.
-- Thank you, sir. Well, on that note I guess I can only add that the Aperture comic will be up Friday, so stay tuned!
And on this note we're leaving the zombies to play in the garden for now. We'll get back to them later, but we have someone very special to introduce that we hope you'll enjoy as much as we do. :) Stay tuned. :D
Believe it or not, this is based on actual events. We were playing the last of the concert in Dark Carnival in L4D2 one night and I (Mike) got separated from Kelli and the helicopter in the stands by the incoming horde. I blast my way through and make it over to the area the helicopter is in, only to have a Tank nail me at literally the last second and pin me between it and a rail at the door of the helicopter. One wicked lucky punch later from SeƱor Tank and I was on board and we were out of there.
We call him the "Helpful Tank", and Helpful Tank is helpful. We remember you fondly you majestic, mutant bastard.
In case you were wondering, Bill managed to survive by his sheer hatred of birds.
This hatred put him into a hate-inducing coma, that made it appear as if he were dead. But it was his hatred filled body that preserved him and his hatred for birds, so he could come to and inflict his hatred. On birds.
THE END. ... YOU'RE ADOPTED.
PS - For Epic Bill freakout music, just click play on the following video and read the comic again:
Murphy's Law, Medic. You need to read up on that.
